'African Art Expo'
African culture not only differs from country to country, but there is also within each country a vast variety of tribes, arts, music, dance and much more. It’s a cultural smorgasbord. An endless range of aesthetic qualities reflects upon the whole continent, from Morocco and Yibuti through the North Africa. African art often hides a meaning or a symbolism, confirming what it’s said that the power of their soul reigns over everything they
Historically, art movements of the 20th century had been inspired by African art. European painters like Picasso, Matisse, Derain, Kandinsky, were impressed by the lively and powerful expression of the African art, including daring color combinations and definite forms.
Opening Event: Friday 22nd November 2019, 6-9pm
Exhibition Dates: 23rd - 28th November
